School assignment

The assignment was to make a new coat of arms for the township of Fjallabyggð. Which is fairly new township of two towns, Siglufjörður and Ólafsfjörður. They haven't been able to come to an agreement on a new unified coat of arms so the new one had to be one they could both agree on. So I made one to signify the the tunnels that join the two towns. It is symmetrical to show an equal unity. The white colour is a nod to the winter wonderland both these towns are and the blue clear sky to signify the bright future that lies ahead.
